Confey U10 1 Lucan Utd 0

Confey's under 10's recorded only their second win, of what has been a very tough season, last Sat 06.12.08 at Catherines Park against high flying Lucan Utd.
In a very well contested game on a frosty cold morning, both teams played out a great entertaining game in good spirit. Eoin Dennihey again proved how deadly he can be on front of goal with just 3 minutes left on the clock, much to the delight of Manager Des Walsh.
Mark Devine had not much to do throughout the game but when he was tested near the end, he was aleart enough to guide a super save around the post.
