Playoff Weekend for Confey Teams

This weekend sees two Confey Teams taking part in Playoff matches for Runners-up spots in their respective Leagues.

Firstly we have our U10B Team under the management of Tommy Newcombe and Colm Coffey. They are looking to bounce back from last weekend's defeat against Home Farm by overcoming Knocklyon Utd in  their Playoff game. The Confey lads on their day are a match for any Team in their League and must hope to put in a good performance at the weekend. Game is being played in Ballyfermot United's home ground, Cloverhill Road, on Sunday at 11am.

Secondly we have our U16 Team playing Manortown in Mill Lane Palmerstown home ground of Palmerstown Rangers. Kick-off is 11am. It has been a few weeks since Gerry Quinn's crew finished their League campaign and they have been waiting eagerly for this game. Gerry is probably very happy to be playing in a neutral venue as his Team's away form has been very good all season. Here's hoping it continues.
