Match Report : Confey 2 : 5 Park Celtic

Confey had a tough time at home after drawing with the League leaders
the previous week - the only Team not to lose to Ashwood so far this
season. Park Celtic from Cabinteely got off to a flying start going
three goals up in the first half. Things could have been worse except
for the efforts of Jack and Sean M in defense with Denis keeping the
ball out numerous times before the whistle. Adam, Davin, Liam and Sean
B worked well to create a number of chances and Sean B scored his
second goal of the season before the break to keep the game alive.

Nevan and Tim helped out in defense for the second half with Jack
taking over in goal. Ciaran, Harry, Jake and Kyle kept the game going
up the field at a hectic pace creating more chances only for Park
Celtic to break and bag two more goals to wrap up the match. Some
heroic defending followed with Jack pushing the ball onto the bar
twice. Confey kept going and Harry scored in the final minutes to leave
Park winning by 5 goals to 2. Good experience all round for both Teams.
